AI Software Engineer - AIXPERT/​GRAIL Projects (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Software Engineer to join our innovative team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, focusing on the AIXPERT and GRAIL projects. This AI Software Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions in a multidisciplinary research environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop software solutions for the AIXPERT and GRAIL projects.
• Build and maintain core components of the platform, including agent systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving project needs.
• Support testing of platforms across various use cases.
• Engage in research and dissemination activities related to BSC's contributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and prompt design.
• Experience in agent and multi-agent systems.
• Knowledge of explainable AI methods and tools.
• Prior involvement in research and dissemination activities.
