About the Role

We're hiring an Entry-Level Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at BeaconFire Inc. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for you to work with cutting-edge technologies in the MERN/MEAN stack while contributing to exciting projects. As an Entry-Level Full Stack Developer, you will design and develop engaging web applications that make a difference.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, Node.js, React.js, and Angular 2+
  • Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code
  • Create, deploy, and manage automated system tests
  • Collaborate with testers to resolve bugs and issues promptly
  • Explore and present new tools/technologies for architectural consideration
  • Work closely with team members to achieve sprint and user story goals
  • Stay updated with new programming languages, frameworks, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with JavaScript or other programming languages (Java, Python, C/C++, C#, etc.)
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems
  • Strong passion for building pixel-perfect user interfaces
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • 0–1 year of hands-on experience in JavaScript development
  • Familiarity with at least one major JavaScript framework: Angular 2+, React.js, or Express.js
  • Experience with unit and integration testing using frameworks such as Jasmine, Cucumber, Mocha, Karma
  • Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology
