Senior Cyber Security Officer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Officer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure and protecting PostFinance from cyber threats. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our cyber resilience through a combination of prevention, continuous monitoring, and in-depth analysis of our systems, applications, and processes.

What You'll Do

• Advise and support internal partners on all aspects of cyber security, guiding business and infrastructure projects to success.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to enable targeted and effective investments in security measures.
• Contribute significantly to maintaining IT compliance, including Cyber Security, customer data protection, PCI DSS, SWIFT, and FINMA regulations.
• Actively shape our security architecture, leveraging your experience with the Zero-Trust approach and established frameworks like NIST CSF.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative security solutions and practices.

Requirements

• A higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with recognized cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CAS, MAS).
• Several years of practical experience in cyber security, preferably within the finance or insurance sectors.
• Strong knowledge of network security, system, application, and architecture security, as well as modern security practices.
• Experience in designing and implementing Zero-Trust security models.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory and normative requirements, particularly FINMA guidelines and NIST standards.
• Ability to analyze complex issues systematically, document them accurately, and communicate effectively.
• Experience in agile working and project environments.
• Proactive in introducing new ideas and ensuring their effective implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
