Junior Quality Control Associate - Diamonds (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Quality Control Associate - Diamonds to join our dynamic team at Nivoda. This role is crucial in ensuring that all diamond, melee, and gemstone products meet our high standards of quality. As a Junior Quality Control Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining product excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the transformation of the jewelry industry.

What You'll Do

• On Time QC: Ensure 100% of diamonds, melee, gemstones, and jewelry orders are quality controlled the same day as received.
• Quality Audits: Assist in internal and external quality audits to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to reduce their quality control rejections.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality issues by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and preventing recurrence.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve quality control methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Shipments: Assist with logistics of shipping orders from the NL hub.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience with diamonds, gemstones, or melee.
• Education: Preferred Certified Diamond Grader or equivalent degree.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience in grading or quality controlling melee, gemstones, and diamonds. Proficient in Excel.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision and thoroughness in executing tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• Knowledge of jewelry supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
