Experienced Project Leader - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Experienced Project Leader to join our team at BRP-Rotax in a remote capacity. This position plays a pivotal role in driving the development and governance of our project portfolio, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation in the powersports industry.

What You'll Do

• Establish and optimize project management standards, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Manage and monitor the project and portfolio landscape, including prioritization, resources, and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of the product development process (NPD – New Product Development).
• Monitor project progress to ensure quality, budget, and timeline targets are met.
• Conduct project reviews, audits, and lessons-learned sessions to foster a culture of improvement.
• Provide transparent KPI and management reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist project managers in financial planning, budget control, and project controlling activities.
• Collaborate closely with project leaders, functional departments, and senior management to facilitate cross-functional steering committees.

Requirements

• HTL or university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Process Management, Innovation Management, Product & Engineering Management, Mechatronics, Business Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (classic, agile, or hybrid).
• Experience with project portfolio management tools and reporting systems.
• Certifications such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, process development, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in German and English.

• Experience in the automotive or powersports industry.
• Familiarity with advanced project management software.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
