We are seeking an Engineer Propulsion - Level 2/3 remote professional to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

• Support launch vehicles by performing ordnance, pneumatic, hydraulic, and motor analysis & integration activities.
• Generate performance predictions and conduct component and system level testing.
• Lead anomaly investigations and disposition nonconforming hardware.
• Perform hands-on test support of pneumatic and hydraulic components through functional and environmental testing.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design, optimization, and analysis processes to meet mission requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related engineering experience, or a Master’s degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.
• Active US DoD Secret Security clearance, or higher at the time of application.
• Experience with Matlab and Python is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct trade studies and evaluate alternative designs.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical data to internal and external customers.

Nice to Have

• Active US DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience in environmental testing and data acquisition equipment operation.
• Knowledge of configuration change management and supply chain management of subcontractors.
