What You'll Do

• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure requirements are clearly articulated and met.
• Install various instrumentation systems that capture customer needs effectively.
• Conduct fault finding and repair legacy equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
• Work closely with the supply chain department and equipment suppliers to deliver compliant equipment.
• Support factory acceptance trials and submarine system trials, analyzing results as needed.
• Participate in peer reviews and verification tasks as directed.
• Assist in the production of evidence for qualification and safety justifications.
• Provide specialist support for associated activities, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Requirements

• HNC or relevant experience in Electrical and Electronic Principles.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex instrumentation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and schematic drawings.
• Demonstrable experience in defining and conducting test procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; knowledge of MATLAB or LabVIEW is a bonus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
