DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunities in Germany

About the Role

We're hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at SERAPHIS. This DevOps Engineer remote position offers you the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with talented professionals across Germany. You will play a crucial role in streamlining development workflows and optimizing our infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles and overall productivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliability.
• Continuously improve DevOps practices and tooling to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
