DevOps Engineer Intern - Cloud Infrastructure Focus

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a DevOps Engineer Intern to join our team at Aivra Health LLC. This DevOps Engineer Intern remote position is perfect for students or entry-level candidates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with experienced DevOps engineers and software development teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.

What You'll Do

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment and monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using modern DevOps tools.
• Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
• Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) configurations using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to foster team collaboration.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior internship or academic project experience in DevOps or Cloud.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of security best practices (IAM, access control).
