About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team at Happy Language Club. What You'll Do

• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform business decisions.
• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models to enhance our data-driven initiatives.
• Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate findings.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve data models and pipelines to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R, essential for this Data Scientist remote role.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of statistics and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with SQL and data querying.
• Familiarity with big data tools like Spark and Hadoop is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
