Cloud Security and Cryptography Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Security and Cryptography Architect to join our innovative team at GFT Technologies. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement secure architectures, focusing on cryptography and cloud security. As a key player in our cybersecurity initiatives, you will work closely with international teams to ensure the highest standards of security in complex corporate environments.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement a new architecture with a focus on cryptography and security.
• Implement cryptographic mechanisms in services using Go, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Manage certificates, mTLS, HSM, and secrets using Vault.
• Automate and deploy in containerized and cloud environments.
• Support CloudOps/SysOps teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing cryptography in distributed architectures (certificates, mTLS, key management, HSM).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Git (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of containers (Docker/Podman) and platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Nomad.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS) with solid networking and virtualization knowledge.
• Fluent in English (essential for an international environment).

• Experience in security audits and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices in cloud environments.
