About the Role

We are looking for a Claims Administrator - Remote to join Wakam, a leading insurtech company. As a Claims Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the operational effectiveness of Wakam’s UK claims activities. You will ensure high-quality administration, smooth coordination with partners, and reliable handling of claims and complaints-related processes. What You'll Do

  • Support the operational administration of Wakam’s UK partners, including MGAs, TPAs, legal providers, and other suppliers.
  • Manage the claims and complaints inboxes, ensuring escalations are forwarded promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare data and reports for internal and external meetings, supporting the Claims, Underwriting, Risk & Compliance teams.
  • Maintain the ELTO database and manage incoming office post, redirecting it to the appropriate partners.
  • Provide practical support and guidance to external partners, ensuring efficient communication and resolution of operational matters.

Requirements

  • Experience in UK claims processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in claims administration or a similarly dynamic administrative role.
  • Good command of standard computer tools, with some exposure to AI-enabled tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues and contribute to practical solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within an insurance company, TPA, or another fast-paced insurance-related environment.
  • An understanding of insurance regulation and compliance standards.
  • Willingness to learn about digital tools and how automation can support administrative tasks.
