Manufacturing Quality Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are expanding our team of Manufacturing Quality Technicians (MQTs) in Vigo due to the new Recuperator project. As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will provide essential technical and documentation support in the industrialization of new products and current production processes, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the production lines. What You'll Do

• Support the correction and adjustment of current and future production processes and assembly lines.
• Collaborate in quality improvement initiatives and provide documentation support to production processes.
• Assist in defining the layout of the production plant to optimize workflow.
• Prepare reports detailing the results of testing phases and quality documentation for new products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes, focusing on scrap reduction, rework reduction, and addressing quality issues.
• Utilize Maintenance Management Tools for preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Support the development of machine specifications to enhance production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in the workplace.

Requirements

• Formal education with Advanced Vocational Training in a technical-professional area.
• Preferred experience of at least 5 years in similar positions as a Manufacturing Quality Technician.
• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level) and familiar with MS Office at an expert level.
• Experience with SAP and AutoCAD at user and expert levels, respectively.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, or robotics.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as ISO/TS 16949 standards and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Understanding of problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA, 8D).
• Training in occupational risk prevention is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the automotive industry’s production line environment.
• Additional certifications in quality management or safety.
