Asset Manager - Remote Opportunity in FinTech

About the Role

We are seeking an Asset Manager to join our team remotely at Fundeen, a leading fintech startup transforming the way individuals invest in energy transition and sustainability projects. As an Asset Manager remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our portfolio of renewable energy assets operates efficiently and meets financial obligations.

What You'll Do

• Oversee operational management and legal compliance of assets, ensuring they meet economic and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with legal teams on corporate matters, contracts, and regulatory issues.
• Manage financial operations including calculation of management fees and distributions to investors.
• Monitor debt, covenants, and payment schedules, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Communicate and manage ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
• Document and structure asset management processes, identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement.
• Design operational structures and implement management systems to support portfolio scalability.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in operational finance, controlling, project finance, or portfolio operations.
• Experience with financial contracts and obligations tracking.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage recurring tasks in a structured manner using management tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Relevant experience in operational finance or project control is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
