Accounts Receivable Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist in a remote capacity, you will play a critical role in the Shared Services Center Accounts Receivable accounting team. This position involves managing the activities that follow customer sales and culminate in the processing and recording of received payments for goods and services. Your contributions will directly impact the General Ledger and ensure efficient operations.

What You'll Do

• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including credit, collections, treasury, general ledger, accounts payable, and employees to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage Accounts Receivable operations, including cash application and manual transaction creation.
• Monitor interfaces and ensure accurate maintenance of customer master data on the SAP ledger system.
• Assist in business process improvement initiatives and transitions related to AR scope extensions.
• Collaborate on the setup and development of SAP systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage and collect outstanding receivables to ensure timely receipt of payments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in administration or a similar role, ideally within finance or accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in PC applications, including MS Office and MS Access; experience with Oracle or SAP is a plus.
• A strong team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
