Accountant - Remote Position

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization while working asynchronously with a diverse team spread across six continents.

What You'll Do

• Manage and post transactions in SAP, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.
• Close and reconcile sub-ledgers including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany transactions.
• Record and reconcile payroll for various countries, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist in variance analysis preparation.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including VAT returns and other financial filings.
• Contribute to financial statement preparation and support various financial projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Post-qualification accounting experience with a strong understanding of core finance systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
• Experience in a remote work environment is a plus but not required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with international accounting standards and practices.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations in various EMEA countries.
