About the Role

We are hiring an Experienced Software Engineer for AI Research Collaboration to support high-impact research collaborations with leading AI labs. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building evaluation datasets that assess AI reasoning, explanation quality, and technical judgment in coding-related interactions.

What You'll Do

• Craft realistic developer prompts across multiple categories, including code review, debugging, error diagnosis, and configuration.
• Source and adapt content from real pull requests (PRs) to create authentic scenarios.
• Write clear, technically accurate model responses that demonstrate strong reasoning and explanation quality.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to refine evaluation datasets and improve AI models.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and share insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, technical research, or educational content development.
• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and validating code.
• Comfortable with technical writing and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in AI or machine learning projects.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and testing frameworks.
• Previous involvement in open-source projects.
