3rd Line Juniper Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and determined 3rd Line Juniper Engineer remote to join our dynamic team at Fujitsu. In this role, you will provide direct technical support for Juniper SRX and EX devices, collaborating with a dedicated second line team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. What You'll Do

• Provide expert support for Juniper SRX and EX devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with the second line team to troubleshoot and resolve complex firewall issues.
• Engage in general firewall build, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Interpret design documentation and define rulesets according to design specifications.
• Share knowledge and train peers to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes effectively to maintain service quality.
• Utilize your knowledge of application protocols, IDS/IPS, and content filtering to enhance security measures.
• Contribute to the development of diagnostic skills and capabilities within the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in firewall build, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper Zone Based firewalls.
• Knowledge of routing and high availability solutions.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple customer accounts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Experience with incident management and change management processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco ISE is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Certificate Authority.
• Experience in patching and cabling.
• Background in SDWAN technologies.
