Full Stack Developer - Energy-Tech Platform
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer to join our team in the Energy-Tech sector. This Full Stack Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a cloud-hosted data analytics and visualization platform that tackles climate change. You will play a pivotal role in the technology team, overseeing the full technical lifecycle of our innovative software platform.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of data-driven tools for the global upstream energy system.
- Oversee architecture, development, deployment, and performance optimization of the platform.
- Collaborate with research, product, and design teams to evolve the platform.
- Present analytics for new datasets and ensure data integrity.
- Work closely with Technical Management to define strategic direction for software development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack web application development.
- Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
- Experience with geospatial or data-heavy applications.
- Core skills in React and TypeScript, with advanced knowledge of Redux for complex state management.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Deck.gl and Plotly.
- Familiarity with .Net Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and SQL Server.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and previous experience in Energy Transition or Oil & Gas projects.
- Exposure to machine learning pipelines or predictive analytics integration.
- Experience deploying applications to cloud environments, ideally Azure.
