ZK Research Engineer - Blockchain Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a ZK Research Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Logos. In this role, you will engage in cutting-edge research and development, contributing to the evolution of the decentralized web. You will work with the Logos Execution Zone (LEZ), a programmable blockchain that emphasizes privacy and interoperability through zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs). This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of blockchain technology while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Participate in research and prototyping ideas for blockchain applications.
• Transform research prototypes into production-ready systems.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Plan, implement, and ship end-to-end functionality for blockchain projects.
• Profile performance bottlenecks and harden cryptographic components.
• Test systems to identify vulnerabilities and propose improvements.

Requirements

• Experience with modern cryptography and zero-knowledge virtual machines (zkVMs).
• Strong knowledge of Rust programming language.
• Familiarity with blockchain or peer-to-peer systems.
• Ability to work asynchronously across different time zones.
• Alignment with IFT / Logos values.

Nice to Have

• Experience with RISC0.
• Previous involvement in building blockchain projects.
• Experience in testing systems and identifying vulnerabilities.
