Working Student in Mergers & Acquisitions - Remote

About the Role

AdEx Partners is seeking a Working Student in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) - Remote to join our dynamic team starting from December 1, 2025. This role is perfect for students looking to gain practical experience in the finance sector while balancing their studies. As a working student, you will assist with various tasks related to potential acquisition targets and collaborate closely with our M&A team. This is an excellent opportunity to engage in a collaborative and dynamic work environment while developing your skills in M&A.

What You'll Do

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of potential acquisition targets.
• Maintain and update long and short lists of potential acquisition targets.
• Work closely with the M&A team and participate in weekly catch-up meetings with C-level executives.
• Support the design and creation of presentations and communication materials.
• Manage stakeholders by coordinating with external due diligence partners and internal departments.
• Assist in preparing project proposals for M&A projects.
• Support internal communication and coordination of team events.
• Engage in flexible working hours to balance study and work commitments.

Requirements

• Advanced studies in Business Administration or a related field at a German university.
• Ability to work independently and self-organized, especially in a virtual team.
• Conceptual and analytical working style with a hands-on mentality.
• Passion for project work and a desire for personal development.
• Very good MS Office skills.
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• Practical experience through other internships or similar roles.
• Interest and availability for a longer collaboration (at least 6 months).

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
