Working Student in Finance - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Working Student in Finance to join our team at Johner Institut. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting our finance team in various administrative tasks. As a Working Student in Finance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality and assisting with the migration of billing and master data.

What You'll Do

• Work between 15 to 20 hours per week in a fully remote position.
• Transfer and maintain records from an old system to a new billing tool.
• Validate, filter, and archive existing data to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure data quality and completeness during migration processes.
• Cross-check billing, customer, and project information across different systems.
• Assist with various administrative tasks in accounting and data management.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies effectively.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented, structured, and responsible work ethic.
• Ability to maintain high concentration on repetitive tasks.
• Discretion and trustworthiness with sensitive data.
• Proficient in Excel (e.g., filters, formulas, data validation).
• Technical affinity and quick adaptability to new software tools.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
