HR Generalist - Remote Position at InStride Health

About the Role

InStride Health is seeking an HR Generalist - Remote to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our People Operations function and ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in a fully remote environment, where collaboration and cultural engagement are key to our success.

What You'll Do

• Execute onboarding and offboarding logistics to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
• Maintain HR platforms and employee files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support HR compliance processes and serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits questions.
• Administer parental leave and ensure accurate payroll adjustments.
• Coordinate remote team-bonding events to foster a sense of community.
• Build strong working relationships across teams and support performance review cycles.
• Conduct engagement surveys to assess employee satisfaction and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.
• Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS platforms.
• High empathy and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Mission-driven with a genuine interest in pediatric mental health.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare or mental health sector.
• Knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations.
• Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHR).
