Junior QA Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Virtusan. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the testing of our mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. This is a remote part-time independent contractor position, ideal for candidates who can work during CET time overlap. You will contribute to our mission of enhancing health and user experiences through rigorous testing and quality assurance.

What You'll Do

• Test mobile application features on iOS and Android, ensuring functionality and usability.
• Perform functional, regression, and usability testing to identify issues.
• Identify, document, and report bugs clearly to the development team.
• Validate new releases before launch to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in writing and maintaining comprehensive test cases for future reference.
• Support basic test automation tasks when needed to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) for effective communication.
• Previous QA or software testing experience is preferred.
• Must own both iOS and Android devices for thorough testing.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Reliable and responsive communicator, able to work independently.
• Available during CET overlap hours to collaborate with the team.
