Workday Payroll Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Workday Payroll Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Workday Payroll Specialist remote, you will ensure our core payroll processes operate seamlessly while enhancing the setup in alignment with organizational requirements. What You'll Do

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday Payroll interfaces and outputs, ensuring functional setup for PECI.
• Partner closely with Payroll stakeholders and vendors to align on requirements, mapping, cutoffs, exception handling, and ongoing operational improvements.
• Build and maintain Workday payroll reporting, including Advanced Reports and Calculated Fields.
• Support troubleshooting during payroll cycles, investigating data issues, and collaborating on root-cause analysis.
• Own documentation and enablement for Workday payroll processes, including control checklists, mapping notes, and SOPs.
• Stay current on Workday releases and recommend enhancements to reduce payroll cycle time and manual effort.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, with at least 2-3 years supporting payroll-related Workday delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Workday reporting for payroll, creating reliable outputs for readiness checks and audit needs.
• Solid understanding of payroll input drivers in Workday, especially effective dating and data integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication of findings to Payroll stakeholders.
• Collaboration skills and stakeholder management; comfortable operating as the Workday owner.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of how Workday data feeds into downstream systems and what validations are required.
• Experience supporting multi-country payroll inputs from Workday.
• Familiarity with integration/support practices, incident management, and change control.
