Senior Web Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will write clean, maintainable code and unit tests for web services and front-end features under the guidance of senior developers. As a Senior Web Developer remote, you will implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to support product features, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What You'll Do

• Write and maintain high-quality code for web applications, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Debug and troubleshoot defects across the stack; participate in root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate in remote Agile teams—attend stand-ups, contribute to sprint planning, and deliver assigned user stories.
• Participate in code reviews and follow version-control workflows to maintain code quality.
• Continuously learn platform tools, frameworks, and best practices; contribute small feature enhancements independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Git.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and TypeScript is preferred.
• Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating sample projects, small apps, or contributions to open-source.
• Comfort with remote collaboration, asynchronous communication, and a growth mindset for learning new stacks.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS.
