Front End Developer - Space Applications (Remote)

About the Role

Join Rocket Communications as a Front End Developer to work on innovative applications for space capabilities. As a Front End Developer remote, you will play a crucial role in developing secure web applications that support our nation’s space initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Develop complex, intelligent, and secure web applications using modern front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure feasibility and clarity of UI/UX designs.
• Utilize frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue to create responsive applications.
• Implement data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js) to enhance user experience.
• Ensure compliance with W3C standards and key web application design principles.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Front End Developer remote.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript ES6+.
• Active Secret Clearance with the DoD.
• Strong understanding of modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph within a year of hiring.

Nice to Have

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Go, Java, Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++.
• Familiarity with server-side development.
• Understanding of government and enterprise work.
