About the Role

Prosper is seeking a dynamic and analytically-driven VP of Marketing to join our mission of advancing financial well-being. This remote VP of Marketing role is crucial as you will oversee the entire marketing ecosystem, from performance-based acquisition strategies to the launch of innovative borrowing and investing products. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will mentor a talented group of 21 professionals while focusing on ROI and market-leading brand positioning.

What You'll Do

• Drive scalable growth by owning top-of-funnel metrics and developing multi-year marketing plans for our retail investor, personal loan, and credit card portfolios.
• Accelerate the development of enhanced machine learning targeting models and conduct aggressive customer research.
• Define our competitive edge through deep market research and competitor analysis, ensuring our unique marketplace advantages are leveraged.
• Influence the product roadmap by providing market intelligence and customer insights to ensure our offerings are positioned to win from day one.
• Mentor and empower a 21-person team to foster a data-first execution engine that thrives on a mission-driven, high-performance culture.

Requirements

• 15+ years of marketing experience, particularly in the personal loan and financial services landscape.
• A proven track record of driving ROI-positive acquisition across multiple channels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to pivot strategies based on performance data.
• High-level communication skills with experience presenting to executives and boards.
• A firm grasp of compliance and regulatory standards in financial markets.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
