Video Editor - Remote Position for Marketing and Training Content
About the Role
We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team remotely. As a Video Editor, you will create polished, engaging, and high-performing video content for marketing, training, and communications. This role involves managing the editing workflow from raw footage through final delivery, ensuring all projects are on-brand, technically precise, and optimized for various platforms. The Video Editor combines storytelling creativity with technical editing expertise to deliver content that drives results.
What You'll Do
- Import, organize, and catalog raw footage from multiple sources while maintaining orderly project files and version control.
- Edit raw footage into coherent, compelling narratives using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Sync audio and video, refine pacing, and ensure smooth transitions that align with brand tone and campaign objectives.
- Add titles, lower thirds, motion graphics, and animations using tools like Adobe After Effects, Motion, or Canva.
- Mix and master audio, ensuring clarity and compliance with licensing requirements, and perform color correction and grading.
- Export deliverables in multiple aspect ratios and formats for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with creative directors, marketing teams, and stakeholders to align edits with campaign goals, managing review cycles effectively.
- Monitor video analytics to inform future edits and archive projects in cloud storage for compliance and reuse.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong knowledge of audio syncing, noise reduction, and color correction.
- Familiarity with exporting for social and web platforms.
- Creative eye paired with technical precision and strong time management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics and animation in Adobe After Effects.
- Understanding of marketing KPIs such as CTR, engagement, and view duration.
- Industry exposure in SaaS, agencies, e-commerce, or media.
