Senior PHP Developer - Magento Expert (Remote)

What You'll Do

• Maintain and support existing Magento-based eCommerce websites, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues in production and staging environments.
• Analyze and fix bugs in PHP code and database queries, implementing minor enhancements to improve functionality.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
• Support integrations with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and deliver continuous improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with PHP (core/standard PHP).
• Hands-on experience with Magento, proven experience working with online stores/eCommerce platforms.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and query optimization.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with GitHub and experience working with Gitflow branching strategy.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
