Video Editor - Performance Marketing for Meta & TikTok

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Soar With Us. This Video Editor remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-growth e-commerce brands, creating impactful video content for platforms like Meta and TikTok. You will be responsible for editing high-production performance ads that drive measurable outcomes, ensuring that every piece of content not only looks great but also converts effectively.

What You'll Do

• Edit high-converting paid social ads specifically tailored for Meta and TikTok.
• Create multiple variations of ads for testing, including hooks, angles, CTAs, and formats.
• Transform UGC and raw footage into structured, performance-driven videos.
• Apply retention editing techniques such as pattern interrupts, pacing, captions, and visual hooks.
• Adhere to platform-native best practices and stay updated on short-form trends.
• Collaborate with strategists to iterate and optimize content based on performance data.

Requirements

• Proven experience in editing paid social ads for e-commerce brands.
• Strong understanding of direct response and performance marketing principles.
• Experience creating short-form ads in various formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, test-and-iterate environment.
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating your expertise in video editing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance marketing metrics and analytics.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and storytelling.
