About the Role
We are searching for an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to join our team at Tarlton Corporation. This Vice President of Human Resources remote position is a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within our HR function, aligning our business priorities with our workforce strategies.
What You'll Do
- Provide visionary HR leadership by translating business strategy into a scalable people strategy.
- Build and develop a team of HR business partners who understand the construction environment and support leaders with actionable solutions.
- Design and deliver innovative talent development programs to ensure employees are prepared from day one.
- Lead recruitment strategy and talent attraction to improve hiring quality across office and field roles.
- Partner with leaders to establish clear roles, expectations, and standards that support operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience in human resource management.
- 5+ years of experience leading a team of direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications and HRIS platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the construction industry or with dedicated union workforce.
- Advanced degree and/or SHRM certifications.
- Familiarity with AI and data analytics tools.
