ICT Engineer III - Data Center & Smart Building Solutions (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Engineer III to join our team remotely. As an ICT Engineer III - Data Center & Smart Building Solutions, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing ICT projects for mission-critical hyperscale data centers and smart building initiatives. Your expertise will help us deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with design staff to contribute to ICT design and project management activities.
• Perform ICT design tasks for structured cabling, security, and A/V systems.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Conduct computation analysis and design tasks for complex projects.
• Manage project design teams effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Identify potential project scope changes and develop strategies to minimize impacts.
• Perform QAQC peer reviews for projects where you are not the lead engineer.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and support high-quality work output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of engineering and project management experience on ICT projects.
• At least two years of experience working on mission-critical data center design projects.
• Proficient in using Revit and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience with AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of fiber optic components and cabling standards.
• Experience in Audio Visual (AV), Access Control, and CCTV designs.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
