UI/​UX Designer - Remote Position at PSC Biotech

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team at PSC Biotech. This remote UI/UX Designer position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to innovative software solutions in the biotech industry. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, product managers, and developers to create exceptional user experiences that empower our clients.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with product managers and end-users to define product functionality and translate specifications into wireframe prototypes.
• Design clear conceptual work that demonstrates UX flow and use-case scenarios.
• Create user stories to ensure developers understand the business case and build optimal features.
• Present features to end users, collect feedback, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Design graphical solutions for various media types including print, web, mobile, and email.
• Participate in development meetings to drive product vision and ensure alignment with user needs.
• Perform other design-related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field such as computer design, graphic arts, visual arts, or a related degree.
• 2+ years of experience in web application design.
• Expertise in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, with proficiency in advanced functions like vectors and compositing.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of best practices in UI and UX design.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while providing creative and high-quality solutions.
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing innovative and functional designs.
• Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
