Transport Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Transport Coordinator to join our team at Gist, where you will play a pivotal role in our logistics operations. This Transport Coordinator remote position allows you to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

• Brief and debrief drivers, acting as the first point of contact for all queries.
• Ensure compliance with legal o-license requirements and operational excellence, including peak planning and delivery.
• Provide top-notch customer care, resolving issues and escalating live concerns as necessary.
• Monitor all routes to ensure timely delivery, escalating issues to the Team Manager when appropriate.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within set time frames using Kronos systems.
• Conduct daily administrative tasks related to payroll systems and queries.
• Collaborate with a supportive team, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication.

Requirements

• Experience in administration within a busy transport environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in customer service and problem resolution.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
• Experience with payroll systems and administration.
• Previous experience in a remote working environment.
