Lead .NET Engineer - Capital Markets Trading Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead .NET Engineer to design and implement solutions supporting trading and order management workflows within capital markets systems. This Lead .NET Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute across the full trading lifecycle, working with WPF- and WCF-based applications. You will leverage AI engineering and database practices to ensure reliable performance in large-scale operational systems.

What You'll Do

• Identify the business need and design the proper solutions for trading systems.
• Provide efficient and clean code to run the projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Perform thorough testing of all implementations before shipping developed features and solutions to production.
• Provide on-call support (24/7) on rotation every 4 weeks, compensated additionally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with a focus on leading project teams for at least 1 year.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.
• Proficiency in full stack .NET/C# development.
• Expertise in SQL, specifically T-SQL for robust database management.
• Familiarity with data exchange formats like XML and JSON.
• B2+ English level proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of capital markets, trade workflows, and the structure of exchanges.
• Experience in development of Trade & Order systems (Order, Trade, Execution, Reconciliation).
• Familiarity with vendor systems like Charles River and Tradeweb.
• Skills in FIX, FIXML, and Tibco products.
