Technical Lead - AI & Data Solutions for GCC Markets

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Lead for AI and Data to join our innovative team at Masdr, a part of Pi 3.14 Technologies. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while leading the technical execution of our AI-powered products tailored for the Saudi and GCC markets. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product portfolio, which includes Masdr.io, an AI-driven Tax and Zakat copilot, and an upcoming e-commerce profit analytics platform.

What You'll Do

• Design and own the end-to-end technical architecture for our products, ensuring robust API integrations and data models.
• Establish engineering standards, including code review protocols and deployment pipelines.
• Audit existing codebases and produce gap analyses to enhance product performance.
• Lead the architecture and development of our e-commerce analytics platform, integrating with Salla and Zid APIs.
• Manage a distributed team of freelancers and vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to budgets.
• Translate product decisions into implementation-ready technical specifications and maintain a live product roadmap.
• Deliver concise weekly progress updates to stakeholders, flagging risks and communicating effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven experience in building and shipping SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with LLM/RAG systems and strong skills in Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing external development teams.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Salla and Zid platforms.
• Experience building analytics dashboards with real-time data pipelines.
• Understanding of KSA regulatory context.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Prior startup experience.
