Training Manager - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Training Manager to join Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division. This remote Training Manager position is focused on enhancing the training system for our manufacturing employees at the Nacogdoches, TX facility. Relocation assistance is available for candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, ensuring a smooth transition into your new role.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the hourly production training program, including onboarding, on-the-job training (OJT), cross-training, certification, and refresher training.
• Establish clear training expectations and competency requirements for each core production role.
• Implement competency verification processes to ensure training effectiveness and quality alignment.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure training reflects current work instructions and quality requirements.
• Develop and track meaningful training metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
• Lead and coach hourly training coordinators, providing day-to-day direction and support.
• Evaluate and pilot modern training methods, such as simulation and eLearning, to enhance training delivery.
• Build relationships with external schools and community partners to strengthen the hiring and training pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of experience in developing training programs that improve measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of training assessments and skill verification processes.
• Experience in maintaining training documentation and records.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and modern training tools.

Nice to Have

• Background in electrical components or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Instructional design capabilities, including job instruction and task breakdowns.
