Principal Technical Consultant (ServiceNow Architect) - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Technical Consultant (ServiceNow Architect) remote to join our dynamic team at Crossfuze. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to our clients on modeling and automating processes in ServiceNow, ensuring their environments are optimized for success. This position is fully remote, and candidates must be located in Canada.

What You'll Do

  • Support engagement efforts for process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current and future-state processes during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders in a 75% billable capacity.
  • Advise customers on leveraging ServiceNow to enhance their business processes.
  • Guide customers in completing required documentation such as business requirement workbooks for technical aspects of the solution.
  • Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer while supporting customers in reviewing and approving them.
  • Provide ad-hoc oversight and training for the customer's future system administrators throughout the engagement.
  • Lead technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery for engagements, including oversight and unit testing of partner resources' development.
  • Deliver technical expertise in supporting ServiceNow best practices focused on configuration versus customization.
  • Prepare customer-facing deliverables focused on technology and ensure the quality of configured/developed solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow.
  • 4+ years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g., XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP).
  • Ability to work remotely and with remote resources as needed.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies, IT architecture, JavaScript, and web software design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Deep understanding of at least four product lines' principles and best practices, delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and industry standards.

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification in four or more application areas.
