Technical Content Strategist - Web3 & Decentralized Storage

About the Role

We’re hiring a Technical Content Strategist to join Walrus Foundation in advancing the adoption of our decentralized storage and retrieval platform. This Technical Content Strategist remote role is pivotal in shaping and communicating our narrative to a developer-first audience, ensuring that decentralized storage becomes a native part of every developer’s toolkit.

What You'll Do

• Translate and refine Walrus’ developer-facing narrative, clearly differentiating between Walrus and competitors.
• Create and edit technical content including developer guides, explainers, and walkthroughs.
• Develop ecosystem and partner technical case studies to showcase our platform's capabilities.
• Produce thought leadership content targeted at builders, such as technical threads and blog posts.
• Generate use-case led content to illustrate why developers should choose Walrus for AI projects.
• Own the content calendar focused on high-impact channels like email, articles, landing pages, and case studies.
• Support product launches with technical content, collaborating closely with engineering and DevRel teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Transform complex ideas and real-world events into compelling stories for builders.

Requirements

• 5-10 years in technical content, product marketing, or similar roles.
• Proven track record of writing high-quality technical content, including blogs, documentation, and whitepapers.
• Experience in web3, infrastructure, cloud, or developer tooling.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to explain technical systems clearly and credibly.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers and understanding infrastructure-level concepts.
• Opinionated about marketing, with a clear point of view on effective strategies for technical products.
• Able to operate independently and prioritize tasks for maximum impact.
