Technical Buyer SCM - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Buyer SCM to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will take responsibility for the strategic procurement of electrical and electronic components, as well as other goods and services from our project and service business. You will coordinate purchasing activities within segments, ensuring a holistic material supply and supporting operational execution.

What You'll Do

• Negotiate prices and delivery conditions with national and international suppliers and shape the necessary contracts.
• Collaborate with our sales and project teams to expand our supplier base as needed and manage the onboarding process.
• Continuously develop processes and systems in this area of responsibility.
• Be responsible for active shortage management.
• Utilize your technical understanding and strong cost and quality awareness to make informed decisions.

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial and/or technical studies or equivalent training.
• Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic procurement of electronic components and technical parts, preferably from mechanical and plant engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Proficient in using an ERP system (ideally SAP S4) and MS Office applications.
• Fluent in German and possess good English language skills.

• Experience in the supply chain management sector.
• Knowledge of market trends in electronic components.
