Epic Applications Analyst I - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an Epic Applications Analyst I to join our team remotely. As an Epic Applications Analyst I, you will provide essential first-level support for the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, assisting users with troubleshooting, system inquiries, and basic application functionality. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth day-to-day EHR operations by supporting configuration tasks, executing routine testing, and contributing to user satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Deliver technical support to all associates utilizing the Epic EHR by responding to inquiries and troubleshooting application issues.
- Assist in basic system configuration and data entry to support template updates and management of user settings.
- Administer routine system and quality assurance tests on new features and updates before implementation.
- Aid in the development of user-facing training materials to support the education and onboarding of clinical and operational staff.
- Provide one-on-one training sessions on EHR to ensure end-users receive proper support.
- Utilize the service management and ticketing system to track reports and incidents effectively.
- Handle unresolved and complex incidents, escalating issues to senior analysts and leadership as necessary.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or Business Administration.
- One (1) year of experience in Healthcare, Electronic Health Records, or IT support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and basic problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
Nice to Have
- Experience in clinical or healthcare settings and with Epic or other EHR systems.
- Relevant Healthcare Technology Certifications such as CHTS or CAHIMS.
- Basic understanding of Epic modules (e.g., EpicCare, Epic Resolute).
