Tech Support Specialist - Remote Opportunity at Shift Technology
About the Role
We are seeking a Tech Support Specialist to join our team at Shift Technology. This Tech Support Specialist remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technology in the insurance sector. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional support for our users.
What You'll Do
- Successfully complete support tickets and project tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Manage desktop computers, ensuring compliance with security policies and maintaining system performance.
- Oversee the badge access system and manage computer inventory.
- Facilitate new user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Deploy new applications using our deployment tools and maintain relationships with coworkers for effective collaboration.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to proactively identify risks and ensure alignment.
- Take on new responsibilities as needed and maintain office printers.
- Manage laptop delivery in remote locations and oversee the internal Windows App (Intune) Store.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in desktop/help desk support.
- Familiarity with Windows, Intune, G Suite, Office, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of computer security, anti-virus, and patch management.
- Basic understanding of cloud services (Azure AD, Office 365, G-Suite, Atlassian).
- Experience with ticketing systems and trouble resolution.
- Proficiency in VPN and network connectivity troubleshooting (TCP/IP, OSI Model).
- Strong documentation skills for problem resolution and routine tasks.
- Proactive team member with a dynamic and curious mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure AD, Intune & Autopilot, Office 365, Jira, and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki AP and Barco ClickShare.
- Knowledge of Patch My PC.
