Business Development & Transformation Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development & Transformation Manager to join our team at Sumitomo Corporation. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead digital transformation initiatives within the Steel Business Unit, enhancing operational efficiency and driving meaningful change.

What You'll Do

• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Drive AI and advanced analytics implementation to unlock business value and improve performance across supply chain and operations.
• Design and implement scalable digital operating models to strengthen organizational capabilities.
• Manage complex cross-functional programs from strategy through execution and stabilization.
• Contribute to business unit growth strategy by identifying and evaluating new investment and partnership opportunities.
• Define and approve KPIs, performance metrics, and analytical requirements to measure program success.

Requirements

• University Educated in Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Advanced skills in digital data technologies and project management certifications preferred.
• Experience in IT/DX, portfolio/program management, business strategy, or corporate finance.
• Proven skills in managing analysis and recommendations for senior management.
• Comfortable dealing with senior management and possess an analytical mindset.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge in the Energy or Steel/Metal industry.
• IT due diligence/PMI experience for investment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
