About the Role

Join Excelitas Technologies as a Work Planner in a remote capacity, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future through innovative light-based technologies. As a Work Planner, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and work plans that meet the latest industry standards, contributing to the success of our projects across various sectors including biomedical, semiconductor, and aerospace.

What You'll Do

• Lead the creation and maintenance of technical drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions in SAP.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering to design and select appropriate production tools.
• Support the transfer of new products from development to series production, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Engage with production and development teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
• Utilize CAD systems, particularly Autodesk Inventor, to produce high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements

• Completed qualification as a mechanical engineering technician or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a design focus.
• Proven experience with CAD systems, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Very good German language skills; good English skills are a plus.

• Experience in the industrial or semiconductor sectors.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Knowledge of production processes and methodologies.
