Team Leader in Quality Management - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Team Leader in Quality Management to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous development of our quality management system with a clear focus on sustainable quality improvement processes. You will lead a small quality management team and develop your team members continuously.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the establishment, development, and implementation of processes for quality improvement in production and administration.
• Enhance and develop our existing quality management system across the organization.
• Participate in supplier selection and management.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits.
• Perform ongoing quality controls of internally produced and purchased parts, as well as manage internal testing processes.
• Conduct technical and factual inspections of parts and manage testing equipment.
• Prepare regular quality reports.
• After approximately six months, lead and manage a team of 3-4 employees in quality management.

Requirements

• Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in plant, metal, or mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a recognized technician in a related field.
• Professional qualification as a quality management specialist or at least five years of professional experience in quality management.
• Solid experience with standard testing equipment for height, hardness, and length measurement.
• Fluent German and practical English skills, both written and spoken.
• Independent, solution-oriented working style with a high quality awareness and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Open, service-oriented personality and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience or clear competence in leading employees.

Nice to Have

• Experience in international quality management practices.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
