Strategic Account Executive - Remote (UAE Focus)
About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive - Remote to join our team at GitLab. This role focuses on supporting our strategic large prospects and customers in the UAE region. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management and sales strategies.
What You'll Do
- Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process.
- Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts.
- Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through strong account management activities.
- Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to our public issue tracker.
- Generate qualified leads and develop new customers in conjunction with our strategic channel partners.
- Prepare activity and forecast reports, contributing to root cause analysis on wins/losses.
- Communicate lessons learned to the team, including account managers, marketing, and technical teams.
- Utilize a consultative approach to discuss business issues with prospects and develop formal sales proposals addressing their needs.
Requirements
- A true desire to see customers benefit from their investment.
- Ability to provide a high degree of account management and control.
- Experience selling into large organizations with minimal supervision.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management.
- Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy.
