Store Assistant - Retail Experience for Kids' Toys

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Store Assistant to join the Eurekakids team in Malaga, Spain. As a Store Assistant, you will have the opportunity to create memorable moments for families and children through our fantastic toys. This part-time role requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, providing you with a chance to engage with customers and contribute to their shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and assist customers, providing exceptional service based on Eurekakids' customer advisory model.
• Identify customer needs and preferences to offer products that enhance playtime experiences.
• Engage in active selling, handle transactions, process returns, and manage cash register operations.
• Stay informed about store KPIs and collaborate with your team to achieve sales objectives.
• Encourage customer loyalty and increase membership in our club.
• Participate in stock reception, inventory control, and product presentation according to visual merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store and stockroom.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of workshops and activities that highlight the educational value of our toys.

Requirements

• Secondary education or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in retail, especially in toys or children's fashion, is preferred.
• Positive attitude with a strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Good level of English for customer service interactions.

• Formal education in teaching or child development.
