Senior Data Consultant - Cloud Focused

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant to join our dynamic team at Fincons Group. As a Senior Data Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing data warehouse architectures with a strong focus on cloud platforms, particularly Azure. This Senior Data Consultant remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative projects that shape the digital future of leading companies.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance data warehouse architectures with a focus on cloud platforms (Azure).
• Build, deploy, and manage cloud-based data platforms.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop, operate, and optimize ETL pipelines, especially with IBM DataStage.
• Apply best practices in security, scheduling, monitoring, and operations.
• Ensure stability, scalability, and performance of data warehouse solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and data integration.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure (design, deployment, and operation of cloud environments).
• Experience in implementing and operating cloud-based data warehouse solutions, especially with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Solid knowledge of IBM DataStage for developing generic ETL pipelines.
• Excellent German language skills (C1/C2).

Nice to Have

• Experience with data governance and compliance.
• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
