Vehicle Technician - Heavy Duty Focus (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician specializing in heavy-duty vehicles to join our team at Scania. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the future of sustainable transport. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.

What You'll Do

• Conduct §57a inspections on heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, and semitrailers.
• Perform technical diagnostics and repairs on trucks and their components.
• Document inspection results and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Work independently on the inspection line, performing brake tests and safety checks.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge in vehicle technology.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Vehicle Technician.
• Experience in truck technology and inspection processes.
• Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Willingness to obtain certification for §57a inspections if not already certified.

Nice to Have

• Class C/E driver's license.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
